This short term assignment involves providing crucial support in managing the purchase ledger and bank reconciliations. Based in South Cambridge, this role is ideal for someone with a solid background within purchase ledger, that can come in and hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the AP inbox
  • Accurately process invoices ready for payment
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving them efficiently.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any invoice or payment queries.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Key skills required:

  • Proven experience in purchase ledger and bank reconciliations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
