COYA is seeking a dynamic Head of Content to join our family and lead our content and copy strategy, producing visually appealing multimedia content ensuring our brand’s visual identity is distinctive and tone of voice is consistent and engaging.


COYA is a luxury lifestyle group with two venues in London; Mayfair and Angel Court. Our other venues are across the Middle East, Monte Carlo, Mykonos, Paris and Barcelona. Born from the spirit of adventure, COYA celebrates Latin American culture through delicious food, innovative cocktails, music, art and incredible parties. The group has won countless awards, including ‘Restaurant of the Year’ at the London Lifestyle Awards, and is best known for its lively atmosphere.


The cuisine is mainly Peruvian with some Japanese, Chinese and Spanish influences and signature dishes include ceviche, tiraditos and anticuchos from the robata grill.


The role is based in London and will require you to be prepared to travel.



Overview of the role:


As our Head of Content, you will:

  • Manage content & copy initiatives: Oversee content creation and copywriting across all social media platforms and owned communication channels (email/website) ensuring a consistent and effective brand identity.
  • Orchestrate photo & video shoots: Coordinate alongside marketing and operational departments and external creatives to deliver visually stunning assets that captivate our audience globally.
  • Execute and deliver compelling content Develop creative and compelling content to drive brand growth and customer acquisition through various social media platforms.
  • Support marketing plans and strategy Collaborate closely with Global Marketing Director and wider teams to translate strategic storytelling into cohesive content plans for brand, seasonal, and promotional campaigns across multiple accounts and social channels.
  • Editorial & campaign calendar management: Meticulously manage editorial and campaign calendars, conceptualise ideas, aligning content with product launches, social impact initiatives, and regional cultural moments.
  • Develop & maintain creative databases: Foster relationships with photographers, videographers, and production agencies to ensure a rich selection of relevant content.
  • Lead social media strategy: Drive business KPIs through impactful feed posts, stories, and ads, implementing daily engagement tactics and growth strategies alongside external agencies.
  • Monitor competitor activities: Stay ahead of trends by analysing competitor activities and ensuring our social channels resonate with regional interests and behaviours.
  • Influencer marketing & UGC engagement: Cultivate relationships, develop a brand ambassador program, and oversee collaboration logistics to ensure robust user-generated content engagement and performance tracking.
  • Planning and budget management: Plan and manage budgets across various territories and programs including organic and paid media spending.
  • Data analysis: Keen to learn and feel comfortable using AI-enabled tools and technologies to gather insights on client data and trends in audience behaviour at scale, maximising the brand’s social presence and creative ideas for content generation.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in luxury lifestyle content creation.
  • Strong background in social media strategy and campaign management at an international level
  • Exceptional copywriting and editorial skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage photo and video shoots
  • Experience in influencer marketing and user-generated content initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
  • Experience running multiple social accounts
  • Available to travel extensively
  • 2nd language such as Spanish, Italian, French would be advantageous
