CWP is seeking a seasoned editorial leader to shape the strategic direction of our digital content. As Head of Editorial, you will be responsible for guiding our editorial vision, developing compelling content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement editorial strategies to drive business growth and engagement
- Lead a team of content creators to produce high-quality, engaging content
- Collaborate with the Head of Content Marketing to develop and execute content marketing plans
- Work closely with the Series Development Team to research and understand focus industries/sectors, uncover key topics, challenges, opportunities, and identify key themes and storylines
- Build relationships with member body partners to shape engaging digital series that support their aims while aligning to CWP's purpose
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in editorial/video & film/content creation/media/production roles or a related field, ideally in B2B industries
- Experience in journalism/digital media/news/current affairs/documentary/factual content would be beneficial
- Creative and strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team of creative professionals
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and allocate resources effectively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in order to work across a remote team, and build relationships with CWP's key stakeholders
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary, anywhere from £55,000 - £70,000k basic dependent on experience
- Company and individual performance-based annual bonus - 10%
