Job Overview

The Financial Times is seeking a highly skilled Head of Editorial Video and Audio Specialist to lead the creation and distribution of high-quality, engaging editorial videos and podcasts for its nine brands.

This is a unique opportunity to drive the evolution of video and audio content, leveraging the latest AI tools to improve output quality and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have experience producing accomplished editorial videos in various formats, from documentaries to panel shows and podcasts, and will be able to effectively distribute shows on different platforms using analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for all video and audio produced by the editorial team.
  • Management of a team of shooters and editors, including freelancers.
  • Delivery of agreed levels of output - video & audio.
  • Working with the group editorial director and individual editors to evolve the quality and effectiveness of the output.
  • Developing the capabilities of the video & audio team in shooting & editing.
