About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Editorial to join our team at The Hut Group. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive editorial and content strategy that aligns with our brand objectives and resonates with our audience.

As a strategic thinker with a passion for creative storytelling, you will lead and inspire our editorial and copywriting team, fostering a collaborative and hybrid working environment that encourages creativity and high performance.

You will oversee the creation of compelling content that reflects our brand voice and ethos, ensuring consistency and excellence in all editorial outputs. You will also drive the development of integrated content campaigns that leverage digital, social, and experiential elements to create cohesive and compelling narratives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive editorial and content strategy that aligns with our brand objectives and resonates with our audience.
  • Lead and inspire the editorial and copywriting team, fostering a collaborative and hybrid working environment that encourages creativity and high performance.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content that reflects our brand voice and ethos, ensuring consistency and excellence in all editorial outputs.
  • Drive the development of integrated content campaigns that leverage digital, social, and experiential elements to create cohesive and compelling narratives.
  • Work closely with our Brand Director and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of content strategies.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in editorial and/or content marketing programs with a focus on driving education and engagement.
  • Highly organised self-starter, with a data-driven mentality and bias towards action.
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior members in the team, ensuring their professional development.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
