As a Pastry Chef De Partie you are responsible for supporting the Development Pastry Chef & Pastry Sous Chefs in a busy hotel kitchen delivering consistently high-quality pastries/cakes & Afternoon tea items.

CDP responsible for:

  • Creating, preparing pastry selections as specified by the senior chef on duty.
  • To be able to work on different sections of the kitchen.
  • To produce tasty, good-looking creative pastries
  • To ensure that all food is prepared hygienically and safely at all times.
  • To ensure that all food is stored and kept at the correct temperature at all times.
  • To minimize waste of any food products at all times.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, morning, afternoons and evenings.

CDP will have:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry CDP in a high-quality Hotel or Restaurant.
  • Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of produce.
  • A highly creative approach to your work with excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledgeable about the food
  • Positive and can do attitude
  • A working knowledge of health and safety, compliance and procedures

Key Information:

Salary: £ 34608.00 p.a. + Service Charge

Hours of work: 48 hrs weekly
