About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team at The Biltmore Mayfair. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pastries and cakes, as well as supporting the Development Pastry Chef and Pastry Sous Chefs in a busy hotel kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating and preparing pastry selections as specified by the senior chef on duty.
  • Working on different sections of the kitchen to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
  • Producing creative and visually appealing pastries that meet our high standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment at all times.
  • Ensuring that all food is stored and kept at the correct temperature to prevent spoilage and foodborne illness.
  • Minimizing waste and optimizing food production to reduce costs.
  • Working a variety of shifts, including weekends, days, mornings, afternoons, and evenings, to meet the demands of our busy hotel.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie in a high-quality hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of produce to create innovative and appealing pastry dishes.
  • A highly creative approach to your work with excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • A positive and can-do attitude, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
