You will work Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, this will be fully onsite during probation, with flexible working afterwards, allowing 3 days onsite and 2 remote days.

Hays has partnered with a leading global speciality insurance broker distributing various products and services to provide innovative solutions and expertise, now looking to recruit a new member in the Group Finance and Internal Audit department.

Your new roleAs a Junior Accounts Payable Assistant you will have varied responsibilities, for example:

  • Dealing with ledger invoices and payments
  • To ensure payments are made
  • To get involved in data entry
  • Dealing with queries as required
  • Unallocated cash reconciliation and review
  • To get involved in the reconciliation of accounts statements
  • Allocation of payments against ledger transactions
  • Cash receipt allocation
  • Creating statements

What you'll need to succeed

  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Previous experience with MS Excel or accounting packages
  • Previous experience in an admin or finance related role will be ideal
  • A desire to pursue
