The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lead Generator to join our sales team. This role is crucial in fuelling our sales pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing potential new customers for FDMUK. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating and managing outbound lists, utilizing various channels to connect with prospects, and consistently delivering high-quality leads to our sales team.


What will you do?

  • Create and maintain outbound lists of potential clients using market research, industry databases, and social media platforms
  • Identify and qualify potential sales leads through various channels including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling
  • Conduct thorough market research to find new business opportunities and target markets
  • Cold call and email prospects to gauge interest, qualify leads, and set appointments for the sales team
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of leads and interactions in our CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand target demographics and refine lead generation strategies
  • Meet or exceed monthly lead generation targets and KPIs
  • Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads
  • Provide regular reports on lead generation activities and results


What you need to succeed?

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively
  • Strong research and analytical abilities to identify potential leads and market trends
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office suite, and lead generation tools
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or a related role is a plus
  • Enthusiasm for learning about new industries and business models
  • Persistent and resilient, with the ability to handle rejection positively
  • Creative problem-solver with a proactive approach to lead generation
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy


Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and sales strategies
