The Role:
Working closely with our Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be supporting on the screening of applications, looking after initial telephone screening interviews (for certain roles) and supporting hiring managers in arranging interviews.
You will have the opportunity to work across our communities and brands, work with hiring managers and the TA Manager to continue to implement new recruitment processes across the business.
You will be tracking applicants through our recruitment ATS and supporting the TA Manager and Hiring Managers with the admin side of the ATS
You will also be able to guide internal colleagues through opportunities for their own career development, through secondments and internal moves.
About You:
You will have experience either from a similar in-house talent acquisition role or within a recruitment agency, perhaps as a resourcer and looking to take your first steps into an internal role.
You will have a keen eye for detail, be able to understand the hiring managers requirements for their role and translate that into reviewing of candidates applications.
You will enjoy the people aspect of the role, working not only with fantastic colleagues internally but in some cases being the first point of contact for potential new colleagues.
Comfortable and confident turning your hand to a variety of roles that DC Thomson hires which will include, Product & Technology, Digital Marketing, Editorial and so much more.
