Our in-house marketing department are looking for a talented social media expert to join the team. As an integral member of our marketing team, you will help develop impactful, engaging, and innovative digital marketing via our various social platforms. The role involves driving traffic to our pages, generating interest and intrigue in our portfolio, and raising our profile within the luxury travel market.


The Person

You will be passionate about creating engaging written, graphic, and video content whilst staying up-to-date with the latest digital marketing technologies, trends, and platforms. You will be creative, agile, self-motivated, and experienced with a positive, can-do approach. You will possess the ability to work quickly and accurately meet deadlines across multiple platforms, and be confident and proactive in presenting fresh ideas to drive the social channels forward. A demonstrable interest in luxury homes and travel will give you an advantage. The perfect candidate will have proven social media experience in a similar industry and a proven track record in driving results.


Experience and Skills

  • At least two years’ experience in a similar field.
  • Experience across all platforms including Instagram/TikTok/Facebook/Threads/Pinterest/LinkedIn/X.
  • Oversee the organic social media deliverables – planning for the creation and scheduling of posts across all social media platforms.
  • Assisting in pulling together our proactive social media plans; working closely with the relevant creative team and other colleagues throughout.
  • Idea/story generation and asset creation (including stories and reels) utilising in-house generated photography and third-party sites/apps such as Canva to support.
  • Working within tight deadlines in line with the content schedule; ensuring all content is produced and approved before publishing.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise workload efficiently to meet deadlines based on business requirements e.g. new property arrivals, portfolio availability, collection focusses.
  • Manage social media queries and comments and prepare appropriate responses in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Contribute to the production of monthly reports with analysis, identifying trends, and required actions.
  • Schedule a monthly review of social media activity; analysing what is working well and what isn’t.
  • Adhere to monthly content targets for social media features.
  • Ensuring user-generated content is managed and monitored, sharing across the businesses’ socials when relevant, appropriate, and on brand – during and outside of working hours.


The Specifics

  • A full time role; working Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm each week 
  • 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays, and your birthday*
  • Access to private medical cover*
  • Starting salary is competitive and dependent on experience
  • Hybrid working is available for the right candidate with a minimum of three office-based days per week at our Headquarters (just outside of Newquay, Cornwall)*
