My client is an established UK scale up operating within the Embedded Finance ecosystem. They are backed by a FTSE 250 financial services company & have huge growth plans for 2024 /2025.

The award winning platform provides Banks, Corporates & FS institutions to offer POS finance to their customers. After winning an exclusive deal with a flagship bank in 2022, they are set to replicate the successful relationships across UK Partnerships.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work with the C-Suite to build out roadmap for commercial partnerships, work with some huge names in the Fintech space & have real autonomy to grow the channel.

As the Head of Commercial Partnerships your responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Responsible for building & executing successful partnership strategy across Tech, FS, Banks & ISV’s
  • You & your team will pick up all relationships after being signed up by the Commercial Director allowing real focus on build out & revenue generation from portfolio with no stress of brand new business
  • You will wear a commercial hat & be responsible for the team generating max ARR from partners alongside exceeding all SLA’s
  • You will focus on building long term 'sticky’ relationships building competitive pricing strategies, product development & partnership plans
  • Direct management of 1 individual
  • You will liaise closely with Product, Engineering & Marketing teams to create client feedback loop and ensure product roadmap is competitive in the market

Essential Skills and Competencies of the Head of Commercial Partnerships is:

  • Senior / Head of Commercial Partnership experience prior
  • Experience within Fintech, Tech, Payments, Embedded Finance or Lending
  • Proven success in taking new partners from 0-1 and over exceeding target
  • Proven success managing tier 1 banks
  • Real 'strategic’ mindset and can lead the vision
  • Agile working, happy working in fast paced environment
  • Mentor / management experience
