Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and talented Clinical Scientist who will play a pivotal role in the clinical development strategy planning and the design, execution, and scientific management of clinical trials focused on autoimmune diseases.
- Provide scientific support for the clinical development strategy definition and indication selection for development assets
- Scientific input on dose selection and clinical pharmacology planning
- Lead the development of clinical trial synopsis, including study objectives, design, and endpoints.
- Lead the development, in collaboration with the research and development team, of biomarker strategy and implementation plans that support early clinical development exploratory endpoints.
- Oversee the review analysis, and interpretation of clinical trial data.
- Oversee patient safety monitoring throughout the clinical trial process.
Qualifications:
- PhD in immunology or related discipline, or Medical Degree
- 3-5 years experience in biotech or pharma industry
- Experienced in clinical research (Pre-IND, IND, Phase 1/2)
- Deep understanding of autoimmune diseases and designing and managing clinical trials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively in cross-functional teams.
- This role is a hybrid role and would require a minimum of one day per week on-site in Oxford
- Ideally the candidate should already be based in the UK or willing to relocate to the UK.
