Position Overview:


We are seeking a dedicated and talented Clinical Scientist who will play a pivotal role in the clinical development strategy planning and the design, execution, and scientific management of clinical trials focused on autoimmune diseases.


  • Provide scientific support for the clinical development strategy definition and indication selection for development assets
  • Scientific input on dose selection and clinical pharmacology planning
  • Lead the development of clinical trial synopsis, including study objectives, design, and endpoints.
  • Lead the development, in collaboration with the research and development team, of biomarker strategy and implementation plans that support early clinical development exploratory endpoints.
  • Oversee the review analysis, and interpretation of clinical trial data.
  • Oversee patient safety monitoring throughout the clinical trial process.


Qualifications:


  • PhD in immunology or related discipline, or Medical Degree
  • 3-5 years experience in biotech or pharma industry
  • Experienced in clinical research (Pre-IND, IND, Phase 1/2)
  • Deep understanding of autoimmune diseases and designing and managing clinical trials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • This role is a hybrid role and would require a minimum of one day per week on-site in Oxford
  • Ideally the candidate should already be based in the UK or willing to relocate to the UK.
