Our client based in Bruntingthorpe is looking for hard-working, dedicated Office Administrator to join their vehicle dispatch team.

A driving licence is essential with no more than 6 points, as you may also be required to drive vehicles on site.This role is ideal for someone trying to get experience within a Transport environment. This is a varied role that will keep you on your toes and give you the opportunity to learn many different roles within the organisation.

Training will be given to the right candidate.

Main purpose of the role:

Reporting to the team leader within the department for the day-to-day tasks are required This is an administration/operations role, to help support the despatch team and ensure that all customer despatch requests are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

This is an office based position, but at time you may need to go outside into the yard to check vehicles are loaded correctly onto the transporters / trailers. You may also need to drive the cars around the site although this would only be occasionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring the company's database and filing system are kept up-to date and accurate.To ensure all visiting personnel are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.Dealing with any queries or complaints via telephone and email.Despatching vehicles for transporter drivers or trade plate driversChecking vehicles loaded onto transporters are correctPreparing vehicle documents and load packsUpdating office records of any vehicle keys received or handed out to team membersPreparing vehicle loose items for the QC teamCollecting documents from various departments located on siteChecking vehicle releases against our in-house system

Skills Required:

Flexibility to work additional hoursAbility to cope well under pressure and prioritise workloadExcellent communication skillsComputer literateGood customer service and administrationAttention to detailWillingness to 'muck in'Hold a full UK driving license (no more than 6 points)
