So whats your possibleOpportunity:This is more than just a job; its a mission.Salary: 53000 - 63000The Finance Business Partner leads a team within the Business Management function supporting contracts of work and their customers financially in a rapidly changing growing and fast paced environment. The role is accountable for the accuracy and transparency of all financial aspects within a portfolio area working alongside the Programme function and supporting several contracts simultaneously.Our UK Defence business is a Sovereign software and systems centre of excellence. We pioneer with fierce curiosity dedication and innovation we seek to solve the worlds most challenging problems.Responsibilities:Be a leader within the Business Management function which collaborates with all areas of the business to ensure Project Finance remain engaged and deliver with the current and future landscapes in mind.Support the Leadership team with guidance from the OU Business Finance Manager to provide analysis which will directly influence Programme and business decisions.Take ownership of an assigned Account(s) and Programme(s) ensuring effective accurate and timely management information is available including any Internal and Customer reporting requirements are met. This will include but be limited to the IF (Indicated Final) AOP (Annual Operation Plan) and contractual customer reporting.Perform frequent financial reviews at project level to ensure correct revenue recognition and forecasting of FP contracts and EACs are performed in line with NG policy.Maintain full awareness of the Programme(s) Invoicing and cash positions unbilled balances backlog and de-booking requirements and work with the teams to ensure the status are all at acceptable levels.Responsible for pricing organic and existing contractual scope requirements (change orders agreed T&M Frameworks) and provide support to Pricing function for larger complex strategic opportunities.Benefits:We can offer you a range of flexible and hybrid working options to suit you including optional compressed working schedule with every other Friday off.
