The purpose of the role is to develop, plan and manage the delivery of reports to the audit committee. You will be required to perform independent assessments of the efficiency and effectiveness of governance processes, risk management framework and internalcontrols for the UK and European businesses.

**Client Details**

The client is looking for a part qualified experienced auditor that has strong customer service skills.

**Description**
- Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company
- Manage personal awareness of industry and business activities in order to ensure high level of commercial acumen.
- Assist in the maintenance of a culture of accountability and integrity, personally adhering to high ethical standards.
- Perform consultancy engagements as directed, including risk workshops, advising on policy documentation and providing training to business colleagues on governance, risk and control issues.
- Facilitate the integration of risk management into day to day business activities and processes.
- Build strong relationships with management to enable value-add consultation without compromising independence.
- Undertake internal audit reviews as directed and communicate the results including actions that have been agreed to address areas of improvement. Examples of audits include strategic, operational, financial and compliance reviews, project audits and riskmanagement reviews.
- During audits ensure that risk management framework, including controls, remain relevant to new standards/regulations, changes to processes from system implementations or business model transformation.
- Contribute to the internal audit strategy for resourcing and delivery of services.
- Develop and maintain the internal audit plan in partnership with the Head of Risk, Audit and Compliance.
- Undertake any special investigatory assignments as required such as data breaches or suspected fraud.
- Conducting policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors

**Profile**
- Graduate level calibre with 5 years internal audit or relatable operational experience.
- Commitment to the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF), through membership of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors
- Demonstrable independent mind-set and ability to challenge the status quo.
- Self
- motivated with ability to work effectively under pressure and with high levels of personal resilience.
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with an ability to communicate with all levels of the business
- A strong attention to detail and understanding of the importance of accuracy.
- A logical approach to problem solving

**Job Offer**
