Commercial Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced global company. The role is important in ensuring continued success and future growth in turnover and market share. You will take responsibly for customer pricing and contract management across the EuropeanEquity Businesses working with both Global and local teams. You will be required to ensure our customer pricing is commercially sound, accurate and consistent.

**Client Details**

The client is looking for an individual with previous experience in pricing and process change management. Having advanced excel skills is key for this role.

**Description**
- Embedding newly designed customer pricing processes and controls.
- Continue to implement, adapt, and improve the existing customer pricing model.
- Obtaining a deep understanding of the commercial model to reflect in the customer pricing approach.
- Perform adhoc analysis and utilise current reporting to advise the pricing strategy.
- Implement robust processes and controls to ensure the contract management process is implemented effectively
- Carry out customer Profitability Analysis, using global data to assess profitability of new and existing clients.

**Profile**
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with an ability to communicate with finance and non-finance individuals
- A strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines and deliver on commitments
- Ability to design and implement processes and controls
- Strong knowledge and experience of producing and working with financial models in Microsoft Excel (macros, vlookups, pivots, sumifs)
- Ability to really understand the commercial model of a business
- A genuine team player, appreciating the importance of team goals
- A keen desire to learn new things
- A proven focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness of processes.
