We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and committed professional to join the Inclusion Team at Ireland Wood Primary School.
Ireland Wood is an inclusive primary school including a children’s centre. We have a strong team approach, embrace change and we have high expectations of ourselves and our pupils.
As part of the inclusion team, you will contribute to the statutory duty of the Local Authority to ensure that children and young people with special educational needs are identified at the earliest opportunity and receive appropriate support.
We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a fast paced environment, with the ability to establish strong networks and working relationships with a wide range of families, school, colleges, providers, statutory and voluntary agencies, employers and colleagues within Health and the local authority.
Experience of developing Education, Health and Care Plans would be an advantage, but is not essential as training can be given. In return, we offer the support of a friendly and forward-thinking team with a passion for ensuring that all children and young people have the best start in life.
