The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) is delighted to invite applications for the Heritage Ambassador volunteer role based at the Museum of Scottish Fire Heritage, Edinburgh. The role is flexible with an availability request of 1 to 2 days a month.

Heritage Ambassadors are essential to the smooth day to day running of our museum site and will help give visitors a unique insight into life within the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. We are recruiting for volunteers to assist in the Front of House/Reception area working at the front desk/gift shop, engaging with members of the public, answering queries, supporting the delivery of our community program and generally be an approachable presence for visitors to the museum.

Applicants must have a willingness to learn and undertake training as the role requires and the ability to commit to regular, set volunteering hours for a specific period (i.e. 6 months).
