Are you an experienced Project Controls Lead looking for your next venture? Look no further We have an outstanding opportunity for a Project Controls Lead to join a leading UK government owned nuclear services technology provider.

As a Project Controls Lead, you will manage and develop their Project Controls team. You will ensure comprehensive Project Controls support across projects, interfacing with the Project Management Authority to facilitate effective reporting.


Key Responsibilities: Project Controls Lead


- Lead and mentor the Project Controls team, ensuring effective service delivery.

- Develop and implement a Project Controls framework aligned with UK PMA and Delivery Operations strategies.

- Monitor team performance, identify improvement opportunities, and address performance gaps.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in Project Controls governance, processes, tools, and systems.

- Provide senior-level oversight on complex projects, assisting with risk analysis and mitigation strategies.

- Manage cost control and reporting systems, ensuring robust project controls.

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, work breakdown structures, and progress reports.


Key Requirements: Project Controls Lead


- Extensive experience in senior management within a Project Controls environment.

- Proven success in leading Project Controls services on complex projects.

- Commercial awareness and eligibility for SC level security clearance (including 5 years of UK residency).

- Relevant qualifications (e.g., AACE, APM, APMG International, ACostE, ECITB, PMI) is desirable.

- Ability to converse at all levels of seniority and commercial awareness to support defence portfolio.

- Experience in developing governance processes, tools, and systems.

- Understanding of schedule risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
