**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Lead to spearhead our ambitious AccelerateBLK project, which comprises four transformative programs: Black Talent on Board, Career Accelerator Programme, and Entrepreneur Accelerator Programme, Scottish Black Women in Tech Programme. As the Project Lead, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction, planning, execution, and successful delivery of these programmes. This role requires a strong leader who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, manage project resources, and ensure the project's objectives are met within the defined scope, timeline, budget, and cohort management. Additionally, you will oversee project social media management to enhance visibility and engagement. The project lead will be required to work occasional weekends and evenings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Strategy**: Develop a comprehensive project strategy for the AccelerateBLK initiative, aligning with the organization's goals and objectives.
- **Project Planning**: Create detailed project plans for each program, outlining tasks, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- **Stakeholder Management**: Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- **Cohort Management**: Oversee the selection, onboarding, and ongoing support for program participants, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize disruptions.
- **Resource Allocation**: Allocate resources effectively, balancing workload and optimizing team members' strengths to achieve project goals.
- **Budget Oversight**: Monitor project budget, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
- **Quality Assurance**: Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards and align with project objectives.
- **Communication**: Maintain clear and consistent communication channels across the project team and stakeholders, providing regular status updates and addressing concerns.
- **Social Media Management**: Develop and implement a social media strategy for the project to enhance visibility, engagement, and communication with the target audience.
- **Problem Solving**: Proactively identify issues, obstacles, and challenges, and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
- **Performance Evaluation**: Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, supporting their professional development.
- **Funding Management**: Collaborate with relevant teams to secure funding for the programmes, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Seek opportunities for process optimization, best practice implementation, and lessons learned for future projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of Post-graduate degree in any field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably leading complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong awareness of a diverse range of issues affecting people with both migratory and low socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to manage budgets, allocate resources, and track financial aspects of the project.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Familiarity with relevant industry tools for project management and funding applicatiuons
- Experience with funding and external relations is highly desirable.
