Higher Enforcement Officer (Regulatory) Environmental Protection
Waverley Court, 4 East Market Street, EH8 8BG although work is throughout the city with a degree of flexibility and some home working (subject to operational requirements). Some work out of normal office hours will be required.

Salary: £36, - £42, (pro-rata for part time)
Hours: 36 per week - although we welcome applications for a range of hours (please be clear on application)

This dynamic operating environment and the impacts of both technological and legislative change require a strong Environmental Health Service performing to the highest standards of competency, service delivery and professionalism. Our Environmental Health Service comprises four teams: An Environmental Protection team and three Food, Health and Safety teams covering geographical areas across the City. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Higher Enforcement Officer to join our Environmental Protection Team.

We can offer a dynamic and interesting environment and welcome applicants with a range of experience and/or qualifications in the areas of Public Health, Noise Control, Contaminated Land and Local Authority Enforcement.
