Key Responsibilities

  • Establish a culture of collaborative leadership and teamwork to effectively execute SFC's mission and objectives with creativity, urgency, and impact.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to SFC's Board to ensure sound governance and effective oversight.
  • Play a vital leadership role across the tertiary education, skills, and research sectors, fostering trusted relationships with government entities, funded organizations, and industry partners.
  • Position SFC as the authoritative source of information and insights to guide policy-making, funding decisions, and performance reporting.
  • Serve as a role model for the organization's values, promoting inclusive management, diversity, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives to align with government reform ambitions in the education and skills sector.
  • Act as the Accountable Officer, ensuring responsible management of public funds and effective governance practices.
