Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Fusion Housing

Fusion Housing are looking for the right people to join the new housing management team. Providing quality housing and supporting clients to develop and understand their tenant responsibilities and how to maintain a tenancy successfully.

The role includes:

Responsibility for a portfolio of properties for people who have support needs. Lead on property sign-ups and re-lets in your area. Working alongside the repairs team and support staff to ensure we meet client needs and provide decent homes. Carrying out inspections to ensure their housing is safe and appropriate Reporting repairs and monitoring their progress. Encourage the payment of rent / service charges from clients. Ensure tenants are keeping communal areas safe and clean. Finding a joint resolution to issues like anti-social behaviour or neighbourly disputes Having difficult conversations with the people you support; being open and honest about the challenges and putting a plan in place together about what to do next.

The qualities we’re looking for:

A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a sense of curiosity and lots of imagination. Someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic team where people support each other and are happy to get stuck in. Being able to work on own initiative and enjoy the challenge of an ever changing workload.
