This is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week/8 hours per day), working on a shift rota basis from Monday to Friday between 7:30 AM and 10 PM. Overtime may be required on occasion of events out of these hours.
The key responsibilities of the position include giving clients and visitors outstanding service, keeping the office tidy and safe, and performing all tasks to the highest possible standard. The ideal applicant will be adaptable in their approach and provide business support as needed. They will also need to make sure that meeting rooms are cleaned and organised to the necessary standards, serve business lunches to attendees at the on-site restaurant, and handle new guests and reservations at the front desk. This is a very "hands on" role that calls for a person who actively looks for ways to boost productivity and improve the overall business environment.
Main responsibilities
- Providing a warm welcome to all guests, and visitors, with a smile, following agreed standards
- Escorting guests to required destinations (as required), ensuring smooth transactions between team members at each stage of their journey
- Always looking out for opportunities to develop our service and innovations
- Maintaining the necessary awareness of building facilities to advise and direct guests appropriately
- Proactively dealing with enquiries and requests in person, via telephone, or email, in a timely and professional manner
- Setting up meeting rooms to the required standards (including food and beverages where applicable), and ensuring that they are checked prior to any meeting taking place
- Carrying out cleaning duties to ensure all areas of the office, both client and internal spaces are up to the expected standard
- Continuously developing client knowledge, with the aim of surprising and delighting at every opportunity
- Ordering and delivering catering and hospitality services according to bookings; maximising sales opportunities through selling techniques
- Actively seeking the client's feedback in all areas of the business, and in turn, share this with your line manager
