The HR Officer is a key role within the People Services team and wider HR. This role will work alongside four other HR Officers and HR Advisor, responsible for providing first line HR advice and guidance across the whole Agency.
This is an exciting role, providing first-class HR support to Directorates on a range of People Services matters spanning the full employee lifecycle including HR transactions, reward, benefits, job evaluation, payroll and pensions.�
The HR Officer will manage and process all aspects of the employee lifecycle and be part of a team identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance the colleague experience.
This role works closely with the wider HR team to achieve the aims and objectives of the People and Culture Strategy.
Job description
To provide a comprehensive, high-quality, responsive, customer-focused service. Supporting the business on all specialist and technical HR queries, as well as general queries, policies and procedures.
Successfully administer the processes that underpin the HR infrastructure.
Provides first line advice and oversees transactional input in relation to people change processes and impacted colleagues. �
Person specification
Your experience in working in a fast-paced HR environment and clear focus on customer service and user experience will be essential to succeed in this role.�
You will have the confidence, skills and knowledge to coach others to understand their roles and responsibilities in enacting core HR processes, to deliver practical customer service solutions and to support the development and modernisation of HR systems and processes.
You will be CIPD qualified to Level 3 (or demonstrable equivalent experience)
