Job Description
COSLA is the voice of Local Government in Scotland.

We work on Councils' behalf to focus on the challenges and opportunities they face, and to engage positively with governments and others on policy, funding and legislation.

The Health and Social Care team is central to COSLA's work and seeks to ensure that health and social care services are sustainable, accessible, personalised and high quality.

We work closely with partners across the Scottish Government, the NHS, Integration Joint Boards, relevant professional bodies and professional advisors to Local Government, regulatory bodies and the third and independent sector to support this work.

We are now recruiting for a Policy Manager who is passionate about Local Government and can bring strong skills in policy development, analysis and political engagement.

A thorough understanding of the health and social care system in Scotland would be of benefit to this role. The vacancy is offered on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2025

The deadline for applications is 23:59 on Sunday 26 May 2024 and interviews are expected to take place on week commencing 3rd June 2024.
