Services offered include supported living, respite care, and outreach programs that empower individuals to live fulfilling, independent lives. We are committed to delivering person-centered care with dignity and respect at the heart of everything they do.
The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Interim Supported Living Manager to oversee supported living services in Colwyn Bay. This is a temporary role, designed to ensure the continuity and quality of care for the individuals being supported. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the services, ensuring that all staff deliver the highest standard of care and support, in line with their values and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of supported living services, ensuring a safe, supportive, and person-centered environment.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of support staff, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to deliver exceptional care.
- Develop and implement individual care plans that meet the specific needs of the people we support.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring the efficient use of resources while maintaining high standards of service.
- Monitor and report on service outcomes, implementing improvements where necessary.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within supported living, or a related field.
- A minimum of a level 3 qualification in health and social care
- Strong understanding of the needs of adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, complex needs, and autism.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions.
- Commitment to the values and ethos of not-for-profit care.
