As the Product Design Lead, you will oversee the product design process, manage a team of designers, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will drive continuous improvement, project manage new designs, and communicate with stakeholders. Your role includes designing processes, collaborating with R&D and Manufacturing Engineering Support, and creating technical reports. You will also validate and verify designs, manage risks, and possess knowledge of production processes. Additionally, you will support functions such as knowledge base development, calculations, documentation, SAP entries, and SOP maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
'€¢Work within the product design process and ensure regulatory compliance'€¢Support continuous improvement, project manage new designs, and communicate with stakeholders'€¢Utilise guiding design rules for products and their realisation'€¢Generation of product data packs providing the definition of the finished product and steps required through the product lifecycle'€¢Support the validation and verification of designs'€¢Support functions such as knowledge base development, calculations, documentation, SAP entries, and SOP maintenance'€¢Provide support to the wider business, disseminate knowledge, technical reports and assist in problem solving'€¢Develop and maintain closer cooperation with all aspects of the business locally and at other sitesAbout you:

Experience:
'€¢Masters Degree, equivalent or higher, in a STEM subject such as Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Physics etc with a strong academic coreKnowledge:

'€¢Mechanical Design and Rotating Equipment'€¢Practical engineering experience'€¢Material properties and selection'€¢Production Technologies (Turning, Milling, Grinding etc)'€¢Business processes and methodsSkills:
