Job Title: Senior Residential Care Practitioner
We are seeking two qualified Senior Residential Care Practitioners to join our team at children's residential homes in Derby. The ideal candidates will have a solid background in residential child care or possess transferable skills that meet Ofsted standards. Applicants must have at least two years of experience managing a team in a similar environment.
Salary: £34,812.43
Location: Derby
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within a children's residential care setting or similar, with knowledge recognized by Ofsted.
- Qualifications: Candidates should hold or be working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare/Children's Workforce or a Level 4 Diploma for Children, Young People, and Families Practitioner (Residential).
- Driving License: A full UK driving license is essential, as the role involves transporting young people to appointments, educational settings, social events, and family contacts.
Salary and Benefits:
- Starting salary: £34,812.34 with an increase after a successful 6-month probation period.
- Working Hours: 56.5 hours per week, including sleep shifts (08:00-23:00 plus sleep, with a 30-minute handover the following day from 08:00-08:30).
- Shift Pattern: 3-week rolling rota, averaging 10 shifts per month hours).
