Are you looking to take the next step in your career, working in a multi asset role that focuses on the technical aspects of the products within the global markets franchise? Citi is currently looking to hire a structurer into its Multi Asset Group (MAG) focusing on the distribution business.

The responsibility of the distribution side of the Investor Structuring group is to expand the structured flow business in EMEA.

By joining Citi's MAG, you will be a key member of an exciting business whose primary focus is to provide asset-based investment and hedging solutions for distributors and institutional investors.

You will be joining an established desk looking to further expand its product offering and client base.
What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are :

  • You will work across asset classes to contribute to the development of the platform by building systems to accelerate growth, executing trades in close cooperation with the exotic equity derivative and hybrid trading desks for example.
  • This role will have you working to build investable strategies, providing innovative equity and multiasset trade ideas to sales and assisting them in delivering solutions to different channels.
  • You will be providing support on bespoke client projects as well as the BAU activity to ensure clients globally are serviced to the levels expected by Citi.
  • You will focus on designing and building python tools for strategies back testing and maintenance, as well as assisting/leading in platform development and automation solutions.
  • As part of an expanding business, you will work get involved with various growth plans and initiatives and will work as part of a dynamic team in multi asset projects including implementation across client segments.

What we will need from you:

  • You will need to be able to display a deep understanding of pricing (options and notes) and executing structures and developing strategies for clients.
  • You should have experience of working closely with other teams across the bank including trading, sales and the various teams which help support the product offering.
  • You will have a good working proficiency with Python.
  • You will be comfortable with legal documents (term sheets, prospectuses, etc.)
  • An understanding of how to assess the risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
