Are you a seasoned structural engineer eager to take on a leadership role? Our client, a prominent firm in the engineering sector, is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their esteemed team.
They focus on a diverse array of projects spanning various industries such as residential, logistics, retail, aviation, healthcare, education, advanced manufacturing, data centres, energy, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Associate Director in overseeing the structural engineering team and managing project workflows.
- Collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and clients to ensure project success.
- Conduct site visits and perform structural assessments, investigations, and repair strategies for various structures.
Essential Qualifications:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Preferably chartered with ICE, or IStructE, or equivalent, or on the path to chartership.
- Proven experience in designing foundations, masonry, concrete (including detailing), steel, and timber structures.
- Background in the residential sector, encompassing both traditional construction and framed structures.
- Experience in structural investigation and reporting in relation to safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Tekla software (Tekla designer and Tedds) and ideally familiar with AutoCAD/Revit.
