An opportunity has arisen, due to succession planning, with a leading regional chartered accountant practice situated in the vicinity of Chester.

This respected firm is seeking a seasoned Tax Senior Manager or Associate Director to enrich their team with expertise and vision.

The role promises a stimulating challenge for an ambitious professional poised to ascend towards a Director position.

As the successful candidate, you will be entrusted with a portfolio centred on personal tax, trusts, and inheritance tax, showcasing your proficiency and finesse in these areas.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a personal tax portfolio and team, ensuring compliance and strategic planning.
  • Provide expert advice on trusts and inheritance tax matters, enhancing client wealth protection and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team, offering support in corporation tax as required including areas such as capital allowances, corporate loss rules, and group corporate tax relief (Corporate Tax experience is not essential, but the desire to develop in this area with support is required)

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • A proven track record in personal tax, with a strong understanding of the associated complexities.
  • A commitment to developing expertise in corporate tax matters, demonstrating a versatile and growthoriented mindset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trust and build longlasting client relationships.
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent, with substantial experience in a similar role.
