The Role

Working in the Registry Team you will be leading and managing a team ensuring that all student module and course management, assessment and Assessment Boards to include the formal Assessment Board communication.

You will be managing the Extenuating Circumstance process ensuring consistent of decision making and regular review and audit of the process. To ensure that student appeal and complaints outcomes are managed accordingly.

To ensure the Student Records System (SITS) is accurate and up to date during the students' academic journey and working with key senior colleagues looking at refinement and enhancements of the student records system to deliver a 1st class service to students and staff.

To provide clear advice and guidance to students, academic colleagues and other professional service teams on issues/concerns/questions that relate to Ravensbourne's regulatory framework.

This is an exciting time to join the Registry team at Ravensbourne as the University is on a rapid journey of significant and positive change.

The Candidate

The ideal person will be educated to degree or equivalent, preferably have excellent experience and knowledge if the Higher Education environment, have an excellent track record in working in a Registry/Assessment environment, experience of managing and leading a team and significant involvement in student records system (preferable SITS) be able to analyse and problems solve, be proactive and motivated to achieve high standards and leader within the Registry department..

The post holder will have excellent interpersonal and team working skills and be able to engage at all levels in an organisation.
