Awards Executive Job Description

Handle Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as an Awards Executive. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for managing and executing award programs that celebrate the media, marketing, and creative industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and run award programs, ensuring regular communication with clients and driving new business opportunities.
  • Understand and follow the processes and systems used to drive entries into the programs.
  • Grow the number of entries and revenue for the awards program responsible for.
  • Build relationships with key contacts at companies who should be engaging with entries and/or providing judges.
  • Gain an understanding of competitor award programs within the region.
  • Identify and engage with new companies who should be entering into all of the company's awards programs.
  • Curate an inclusive jury.
  • Ensure collation of all award entry materials and processes by specified deadlines.
  • Provide customer service for all awards queries.
  • International travel to events, or key meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer-service focus and project management approach.
  • Experience, knowledge, or passion for the media and marketing sector.
  • Good knowledge of basic computer Microsoft programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
