Job Summary

Sigma Defense is seeking a Senior Program Manager to provide support to Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces (USFF) in Norfolk, VA. The individual in this role will provide the interface with the Government COR, Contracting Officer, senior government managers, senior military officers and provide briefs on project progress.

The ideal candidate is a team-oriented, customer-focused program manager who has experience leading working groups and cross-functional teams with at least 8 years of experience with managing large, complex projects dealing with Navy and/or Defense training operations and policy.

This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer total program activities and provide principal support for all program administration, financials and reporting.
  • Ensure efficient, timely and complete management oversight, administration of all tasking, deliverables, contract requirements, contractor and subcontractor performance and quality.
  • Function as the single point of contact (POC) to the Government for all contractor-to-contractor teaming work arrangements and execution under this contract.
  • Provide as required direct, recurring interface with the contracting officer's representative (COR), alternate COR (ACOR), and the command/training site technical assistant (TA).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the following:
  • Corporate program manager on a defense contract of similar magnitude and complexity of this requirement.
  • Determining program objectives, organizing requirements, scheduling projects and developing standards and guidelines.
  • Managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Managing large complex projects/deliverables with numerous stakeholders.

Clearance Requirements

  • Candidate must possess an active, DoD issued Top Secret security clearance or higher.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
