About the Role
As a key IT Change Delivery team member, the Faculty Relationship Manager reports to the Head of Change and Student Experience. They prioritise the student and staff voice, enhance IT Services partnerships with Queen Mary University Faculties, and drive change adoption aligned with the University Strategy 2030.

About You
You are curious and appreciative of people's needs and problem-solving. You will collaborate closely with School/Department staff, students, and IT Services to manage and implement IT and business changes and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance experiences at Queen Mary University of London. The main duties and expectations of the role are listed below; however, they are not exhaustive. This role is designed to be a platform for understanding the business and academic needs and influencing operational and transformational IT portfolio.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with students and staff,
  • Lead business change initiatives within the IT Change Portfolio,
  • Participate in faculty governance structures,
  • Manage demand and influence IT Change Portfolio size and shape, aligned to Strategy 2030,
  • Lead on university-wide projects to enhance the student and staff experience,
  • Engage in Voice of the Customer (VoC) to improve services,
  • Conduct inductions and manage IT-related changes,
  • Handle service escalations and monitor SLAs and KPIs,
  • Contribute to IT strategy formulation and implementation,
  • Lead continual service improvements.

Experience

  • Educated to a relevant Bachelor's degree or able to demonstrate Business Relationship Management experience in a large and complex organisation,
  • CCMP/Prosci, Prince2, BRMP and Agile qualifications,
  • Proven track of effective collaboration, communication, negotiating and influencing at all levels of an organisation,
  • Proven track of business change management.

IT Services are dedicated to enabling transformational change, improving and maintaining complex operations, and delivering change. They support excellence in research and teaching through comprehensive services such as high-performance computing, data storage, desktop support, and digital solutions design, ensuring seamless IT experiences for students and staff.
