What You'll Be Doing

As an Engagement Manager in Government & Public Services, you will play a critical role in serving the needs of our government customers across multiple domains. You will apply AI to real-world problems, driving tangible impact on public sector output. Your focus will be on delivering high-value projects that meet customer objectives and run smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Own end-to-end project delivery, from structuring project plans to managing product development, ensuring maximum value is brought to the customer.
  • Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers and technical teams to design innovative solutions that address business problems across various disciplines and sectors.
  • Product Management: Collaborate with product designers and engineers to develop solutions that fit into customer workflows and support their business needs.
Relationship Building
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships as the primary point of contact during projects, ensuring projects meet objectives and run to time.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities, contributing to the preparation and delivery of new business pitches and proposals to secure new or expand current work across sectors.
Thought Leadership
  • Contribute to the growth of the business unit by developing good processes and practices that enhance the Government team and help deliver on objectives.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research in various fields relevant to our work, driving innovation and excellence.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in professional services, ideally from a consulting, technology, or data background, particularly within a public sector context and preferably in AI.
  • Delivery excellence, taking responsibility for ensuring the successful delivery of projects and owning the development of high-quality written deliverables and reports.
  • Experience working with technical teams and delivering technical projects, ideally in AI.
  • The ability to communicate persuasively about how AI and data can be used to solve problems and think creatively about applying these solutions to customer needs.
  • A passion for AI and its safe, human-led application to solve real-world problems.
