    What will you be doing?

    As a Care & Support Assistant, you'll support people to gain their independence, helping them to regain confidence to reach their goals and retain skills. You will support individuals to make choices around their personal care and needs, encouraging good nutrition and hydration and prompt socialisation and engagement in activities. Ensure that clear and accurate documentation is completed, and any concerns are reported to the Shift Leader or Nurse on duty.

    • Enrich our customers to feel safe, secure and noticed.
    • Support them to be themselves and encourage their comfort whilst being respectful of their living space.
    • Take part in Arts, crafts and stimulating activities.
    • Helping customers to get washed and dressed.
    • Providing manual handling support and personal care.
    • Providing medication support in a timely manner.
    • Liaise with health professionals.
    • Reporting any concerns or incidents to senior members of the team.
    • Arranging and taking part in activities with members of the community.

      37 hours per week, rotating shifts: 7am-2pm and 2pm-9pm, with alternate weekends.

      About you

      As we offer full hands-on training with relevant certifications, you don't have to have experience. BUT you do need to have the want and will to make individuals feel seen and cared for.

      At minimum we offer 2.5 weeks induction training and a further 2-4 weeks "Buddy scheme" too. We will settle you in, gradually.

      A DBS check will take place, at WNC cost.
