Evening Care Assistant

Field View Care Recruitment Solutions is seeking dedicated Evening Care Assistants to join our team, providing essential support to young individuals aged 8-18 with Behavioral, Emotional, and Social Difficulties (BESD).
Position OverviewAs an Evening Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe and nurturing environment for our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with young people to promote their well-being and development.
- Assisting with daily activities and ensuring a supportive atmosphere.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required.
We offer competitive remuneration for our Evening Care Assistants:
- Residential Support Worker: £11 - £13 per hour
- Sleep-in shifts: £50 per night
- Senior Support Worker: £12.50 per hour
Typical working hours consist of 40 hours per week.
Qualifications and ExperienceWe prefer candidates with:
- NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a care setting, particularly with young individuals.
As a Residential Support Worker (Unqualified), your initial tasks will include:
- Completing an induction program and familiarizing yourself with internal processes.
- Participating in regular supervision and team meetings.
- Engaging in comprehensive online and face-to-face training sessions.
Upon successful completion of your probation period, your salary will increase to £11 per hour.
For those with qualifications, the role will expand to include:
- Conducting risk assessments and developing care plans.
- Supporting senior staff and mentoring new team members.
- Participating in monthly supervision and contributing to staff meetings.
