The Head and Neck Clinical Administration Unit is looking for an experienced PA/ Medical Secretary to work in their busy department.
To provide a high quality, responsive and flexible PA and administrative support service to the Clinical Director, Specialty Clinical Leads and other senior leaders in the Divisional management team as required.
To work unsupervised and accurately under pressure, prioritizing own workload in order to meet deadlines.
Main duties of the jobAn understanding of the need for confidentiality and diplomacy is a must as well as excellent communication skills along with good audio typing speeds, accuracy and good knowledge of IT systems and medical terminology as well as a good telephone manner and being able to deal with sensitive calls.
Knowledge of Allscripts/ERS/RTTr/Cube would be desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.
