Are you a skilled Payroll and Pensions professional with a knack for detail and a passion for efficiency? Join us as a Payroll, Pensions & Benefits Manager, where you'll ensure our employees are paid accurately, on time, and securely. You'll manage end-to-end payroll for a multi-site trust, handle pension schemes, and oversee employee benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Pay employees accurately, on time and securely.
  • Oversee benefit management
  • Generate monthly reports and journals.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate HR & Payroll records.
  • Deliver comprehensive end-to-end payroll process
  • Address internal and external payroll queries, providing first-line support and escalating when necessary.
  • Assist managers and employees with payroll-related inquiries, including pay, expenses, tax & NI, holiday calculations, and sick pay.
  • Manage payroll processes: new starters, changes, leavers, SMP, SSP, company cars, car allowances, and monthly data input.

Requirements:

  • CIPP qualified
  • Great attention to detail
  • Extensive payroll experience working in a large organisation
  • Previous experience in the education/public sector background
  • Excel Skills
  • Excellent understanding of accountability and prioritising.
  • Excellent IT skills and work to tight deadlines
  • Interpersonal skills
