What You Will Do:
Our ideal candidate will be positive, proactive, assertive, and innovative, with well-developed written and communication skills. Working collaboratively with Sales, Legal, Operations, and Finance teams, you'll be supporting the EMEA Sales organization acting as a sales-facing subject matter expert on process, policy, and pricing related matters.
- Act as liaison between sales and other key stakeholders involved in the deal structuring process (e.g., Sales Operations, Accounting, Order Management, Legal, Product Marketing, etc.)
- Map out non-standard complex deals using Excel if required and identity appropriate perpetual or subscription pricing model.
- Read, interpret, redline, and draft contractual language to ensure transactions comply with revenue recognition and business operational policies.
- Collaborate with impacted parties to identify acceptable options to facilitate deal closure.
- Assess revenue treatment prior to deals being finalized.
- Track and document non-standard deals.
- Assist in responding to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs.
- Complete ad hoc sales related projects and analysis as required.
- Liaise between Field Sales and Revenue Accounting on accounting close questions
What You Bring to Forescout:
- 5+ years related experience in Revenue Accounting, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, and or Deal Desk functions, must understand the Enterprise selling process
- Solid software revenue recognition knowledge.
- Experience with both Channel and a Direct Sales model.
- Understanding of perpetual and subscription models desirable.
- Strong understanding of quote to cash processes.
- Comfortable reading legal contractual language.
- Aptitude to manage discounting and margins.
- Extremely strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting/Finance
