Position Overview

We are looking for a Department Manager to join our brand new Women's Wear Concession in one of the worlds leading department store Harrods .

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
People leadership

  • Create an inclusive working environment with a customer-centric mindset
  • Through team management and visible presence ensures Ralph Lauren's standards are achieved
  • Unlock talent that supports career progression of the team
  • Support clientelling initiatives with team eg. personal shopping experience
  • Drive high performance culture by holding the team accountable for agreed results Commerciality
  • Deliver and maintain an elevated customer experience within the store environment
  • Implement the Ralph Lauren ways of working and selling culture to maximise sales and profitability
  • Develop and monitor key metrics that drive the business plan
  • Keep up to date with competitor activity. Operations
  • Manage inventory flow to minimise shrink loss through operational excellence
  • Lead floor recovery, ensuring price and size integrity
  • Manage and maintain a safe work environment for customers and employees by complying with all company policies and procedures
  • This role reports directly to the store manager with some duties related to that of an assistant manager
Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Managed a team
  • 2 strategic cycles as a retail department manager or assistant manager or equivalent
  • Beneficial having worked in a premium or mid level Luxury brand
  • Energetic, passionate and results driven
  • Knowledge in clientelleing and building relationships with clients
  • Faster paced environment
  • Excellent communication skill
