About the Role

The Fabrication Department Manager is a key position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the Fabrication Discipline within our West region. This role ensures coordination and consistency for the delivery of fabrication activities across our tenders and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to the Fabrication community to ensure standardization of operational practices, continuous improvement, and predictable performance.
  • Implementation and Adherence: Ensure the implementation of and adherence to our Management systems, professional tools, policies, and processes.
  • Project Delivery: Review, organize, and influence the Fabrication department to effectively handle and deliver multiple large and complex Fabrication Projects.
  • Team Management: Manage and motivate the fabrication team across several locations, reviewing and assessing performance through the COMPASS process.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources to tenders and projects as required, in continuous liaison with regions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs to monitor Fabrication performance and review and update Fabrication Guidelines documents.
  • Digitalization Initiatives: Develop and implement Fabrication digitalization initiatives.

  • Operate within the Business Code of Conduct.
  • Experience working in a project environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external functions and business partners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ideally previous experience in a Project Management role or similar.
  • Fabrication experience.
