You will work with a variety of partners, customers, and clients on the delivery of a professional service that maximises resources and delivers positive outcomes.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Building Control, Property Information, monitoring and compliance along with a flood risk engineer. The post holder will lead, motivate and manage the teams.

You will be business and customer focused with a demonstrable record of, identifying opportunities, achieving outcomes, managing change, and exercising strong leadership skills. You will be self-motivated with a flexible and collaborative approach to work and have the ability to cope with multiple and changing demands whilst meeting tight deadlines.

Ideal candidates should have:

  • Substantial knowledge of Local Authority working and management
  • Knowledge of customer care and the principles of equal opportunities
  • A proven record of the ability to act as the lead officer in one of the identified specialist areas
  • A high level of self-motivation
  • Excellent time management
