As a Reinstatement Streetworks and Technical Support you will ensure the compliance of NRSWA/TMA legislation across Customer Operations, within a defined geographic area, acting as expert in NRSWA/TMA in reducing exposure to any financial liabilities as result of NRSWA/TMA non-compliance. You will also drive performance improvement across the streetworks and reinstatement processes, driving reductions in penalties and improvement in stake holder and customer satisfaction.

Alongside this you will be accountable for operational safety which will include things such as compliance, making sure public safety is always a consideration and reinstatement quality assurance and audit processes are in place and carried out as per process and criticality.

What you'll get to work on:
  • Performance manage Partner reinstatement activities and ensure these are in line with Cadent guidelines, legislation, contract terms and best practice
  • Interface with the HA on all relevant issues, ensure communication with HA's is effective and address/resolve issues
  • Provide advice on reinstatement activities and ensure that the Partner has access to Cadent resources and expertise when required
  • Review and challenge/approve cross charges relating to the provision of reinstatement for Operations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant client representatives, supply chain and local authorities
  • Responsible for reinstating (direct and subcontract) to ensure that all works are correctly reinstated with appropriate Opening Notices where required Ensure the requirements of Section 74 and FPNs are met
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Local Authorities on a regular and frequent basis, attending internal and external meetings as required
  • Ensure the needs of the customer are recognised when carrying out the Company's contractual obligations ensuring to comply with Customer Complaints process and private reinstatement completion of works and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for noticing compliance and performance accuracy, providing comments and challenge.
Who are we looking for:

Qualifications

  • NRSWA Supervisors Qualification
  • Safety Qualification (such as IOSH Certificate)
  • Previous Experience in Utility Contracting or Local Authority experience.

Practical Experience

  • Experience in contracting or operational environment (SCCF)and operational and workforce management
  • Knowledge of Streetworks legislation, reinstatement legislation and HA operations and procedures
  • Effective coaching, communication and influencing skills
  • Committed to putting customers first and achieving a high level of satisfaction.
