Job Description Buyer/Administrative Assistant Location Birmingham :

Overview:Birmingham Veneers Limited, a door/joinery company based in Birmingham, is currently looking for a experienced Buyer / Office Admin to join our sales department.

Duties:

-Raising purchase orders and following through with calls and emails, finding to best prices and ensuring that they are delivered in time.-Handle incoming calls and emails.- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents.- Utilize organizational skills to maintain a well-structured office environment.- Computerize data entry tasks efficiently and accurately.- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.

-Assist with basic bookkeeping using SAGE50.


Experience:
  • Proven experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong proficiency in data entry and office management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Familiarity with admin procedures and basic accounting principles (SAGE 50).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Monday to Friday 8-4:30pm, preferably but there is some flexibility with working hours/days.

Location - Tyseley Birmingham B11 2LQ

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £16.56 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
