HRBP Employee Relations Specialist

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Own and manage all Employee Relation and Human Resources policies and processes, creating them where necessary, and ensuring processes and SLAs are adhered to Partner with Store Leaders to resolve ER queries and cases in a timely manner, fairly, consistently, commercially and pragmatically. Be updated with any legal labour and immigration law update in the UK and work to define the implementation in the Company. Providing ER/HR training, support and coaching to the region, enabling them to handle first line management of basic employee issues and any identified performance concerns. Actively managing any complex ER matters and ET claims and sharing of best practices across the regions in line with our company tools, practices and policies Act as a point of escalation and build trusted, credible relationships with senior leaders and HR leads by providing ER advice and solutions for complex or high risk cases. Support the business through organisational change with changes to the structure, roles and org design as required according to labour laws and policies. Leading diversity and inclusion initiatives together with other People teams. Support with creation of HR/ER reporting and accountability in delivering key KPIs including labour turnover. Due to the nature of the role, there will be national travel and occasionally may be required to make over night stays.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Proven experience in HR partner or management role with line management responsibility in Retail Company. A good understanding of UK employment legislation, knowledge of Irish legislation is preferable A proven track record of adding commercial value to the business Strong ER experience A commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace Thorough understanding of recruitment processes and best practice Ability to coach and influence on all People / ER issues Commercially astute and ability to proactively solve problems CIPD qualified level 5 and working towards (or already completed) level 7 You got it?
