Employee Relations Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Consultant to join our team at Aon. As an Employee Relations Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ER advice to business managers and People Partners/HRBPs on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide ER advice and support on a variety of cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, performance and capability issues, absence and wellbeing support, contract queries, and policy reviews.
  • Use coaching and influencing skills to ensure the right outcome is achieved in each case, managing risk while maximising business results.
  • Advise the business on employment legislation, procedural compliance, and best practice.
  • Develop effective relationships with colleagues and clients to promote good employee relations across the business.
  • Deliver an effective internal ER consultancy, adding value to the business and maximising the effectiveness of Aon colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Excellent technical employee relations and employment law knowledge.
  • Able to act with sensitivity and diplomacy in dealing with challenging people issues.
  • Proven commercial approach with a good understanding of business needs.
  • Experience of advising and influencing line managers and adept at handling difficult conversations.
  • Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
